SCPLS Williams Family Seymour Branch Library Hosts ‘Living with Alzheimer’s Disease’ presented by Bart Brammer – July

The Williams Family Seymour Branch Library is hosting a presentation presented by Bart Brammer. The program, My Personal Story: What It’s Like Living with Alzheimer’s Disease will be on Tuesday, July 23 from 11:00-11:45 AM at 137 W. Macon Lane, in Seymour.

Bart Brammer, hailing from the corporate world, played a pivotal role in launching the Saturn plant in Middle Tennessee. He traveled the nation as a corporate trainer until his retirement in 2020, following a stroke that revealed early-stage Alzheimer’s. Now, Bart has shifted gears to become an Alzheimer’s advocate and educator, serving on the Tennessee State Alzheimer’s Advisory Council. Besides championing Alzheimer’s patients and their caregivers, he is dedicated to fulfilling his bucket list and relishing life with his partner, Darlene. Today’s message is particularly tailored for caregivers.

The program is free and open to the public. For additional information, please call 865.573.0728.
